Associates of Science in Business (General Transfer) - Degree Plan

62 Hours
The College offers this Associate of Science degree option in Business Administration for those students wishing to complete the first two years of the baccalaureate program at NWACC. This degree plan allows the student to complete the basic general education and pre-business degree program requirements. This degree also has the option to be earned entirely online. Students transferring should coordinate their plans with the institution they plan to transfer to and an NWACC academic advisor.
Courses should be completed in the listed sequence along with prerequisites.

Speech/Communication (3 Hours)
Fine Arts/Humanities (6 Hours)
College Algebra or Above (6 Hours)
Note:
if transferring to Walton College, take MATH 2043 and MATH 2053 Honors and Global Studies courses will meet degree requirements where applicable. Biological Science (4 Hours)
Choose 1 class: Physical Science (4 Hours)
Choose 1 class: U.S. History or Government (3 Hours)
Social Science Courses (3 Hours)
Can select a U.S. History or American Government class, if not previously taken. Directed Electives - (6 Hours)
Choose 1 class:
Can select a U.S. History, American Government, Social Science elective class, if not previously taken. General Psychology may also be taken. Possible Placement Requirements
These courses are for developing college level skills. NWACC strongly recommends that students enroll in English and math preparatory courses within the first two semesters These hours will not fulfill any degree requirements at NWACC. These courses will not transfer to a four year institution |
