The Certificate of Proficiency in Trail Technician is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills required to excel as trail crew workers. This program is ideal for those interested in pursuing a career as a trail technician, park ranger, land steward, or outdoor recreation professional. This CP will include trail construction, fabrication, and maintenance components, as well as emergency responder. This CP stacks into the TC in Trail Construction and Maintenance as well as the AAS in Construction Technology. Participants will learn the essential techniques and best practices necessary to ensure the safe and sustainable operation of trails, while also preserving the natural environment.
