NURS 9313 - Pharmacological Basis of Nurs Description This course is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge to safely administer drugs to clients of all ages. Content includes medication action, use, adverse effects, nursing implications, and client education for drugs affecting the body systems and defense processes.
Pre-Requisite Completion of BIOL 2214 , BIOL 2224 with a grade greater than or equal to a C.

Assessments
The final is a departmental comprehensive exam. Results of the departmental finals will be submitted to the coordinator as part of course outcome assessment. The test will cover a select number of the core learning outcomes.
Grading Guidelines
All exams and assignments will be administered online through Canvas. To gain credit for any designated assignment, the student must upload completed work by the posted deadlines. Failure to complete assignments on time will result in a zero.
Exams are graded and a total of 75% on all exams must be obtained prior to any assignments being added.
