Nursing, A.A.S. - Degree Plan


Note:


College Algebra can be met with one of the following courses: MATH 1203 - College Algebra  or MATH 1203R - College Algebra with Review . . Please refer to course catalog for pre‐requisite or placement score requirements. College Algebra must be completed within the last 5 years. A College Algebra CLEP exam is an option as well. Students must still complete 68 credit hours.

**This course has transfer-level prerequisites that are not included in this degree plan. Must be completed within the past 5 years.

Honors courses will meet degree requirements where applicable

Note:


Applications for admission to the professional curriculum is available as follows:

Track I, April 1 - May 1 every year. Students accepted begin the following fall semester.

Track II, Nov. 1 - Dec. 1 every year. Students accepted begin the following summer semester.

Clinical placement is subject to criminal background check, drug screening and other clinical facility policies.

Anatomy and Physiology I and II and College Algebra must be current within 5 years.

Possible Placement Requirements


These courses are for developing college level skills.

NWACC strongly recommends that students enroll in English and math preparatory courses within the first two semesters.

These hours will not fulfill any degree requirements at NWACC. These courses will not transfer to a four year institution.
